Message This was 100% stock on Shell 91 octane fuel, it is the highest stock one we have seen.
Mine is a 2014, Seb also has a 2014 and his only measured 477 rear wheel, but his car was on Chevron 91 octane. Other GTR's stock on our Dynojet have been around 490 at the rear wheels, but they were also not running Shell for the baseline test.
The GTR ECU was pulling 6 degrees of timing on Seb's car, on mine it was advancing 2 degrees.
The stock GTR ECU program will automatically add timing if it does not detect any knock, it will also pull timing if it does pick up knock.
We have found a huge difference in 91 Shell fuel compared to all the other brands, at least here in California. The Shell 91 acts like 93+ as far as knock resistance.
The GTR is mostly a rear wheel drive car, the front assists when the computers detects loss of traction. On a 4 wheel drive dyno the clutches for the front get hot easy, unless the 4 wheel dyno has a belt to keep all wheels spinning the same speed. The GTR is much easier to dyno on a 2 wheel dyno by simply removing the front driveshaft.
The GTR can be driven without the front driveshaft, but with the power and 20 inch tires it is like driving on ice.
